About Chris Senise
Christine Guzman, known as Chris Senise, embodies multiple facets: she is a devoted mother, wife, experienced finance executive, musician, and proud member of the BIPOC community with Cuban roots. Fueled by her bold spirit and relentless energy, Chris unites these diverse aspects of herself to launch the CHRIS SENISE PODCAST and Getting Started, a series that explores our relationship to wealth. Her intention is to establish platform that stems from her continuous journey to delve into personal and collective identities, and pathways for healing and self-discovery. Through the CHRIS SENISE PODCAST and Getting Started, Chris fosters candid conversations— leveraging her deep-seated expertise and life roles. These dialogues explore the intricate nature of life, promoting a better understanding of ourselves and each other.
As the lead songwriter and singer of Stereo Joule, Chris has had the freedom to express and develop herself creatively through music. She's toured the United States with Stereo Joule, releasing four EPs to date. As a songwriter, Chris has been recognized twice by the Nashville Songwriters Association International as a “One To Watch” artist.
Within her dualistic foundation of creative and professional explorations across music and finance- with the added expansion of motherhood and committed partnership– Chris’ podcast and series Getting Started, aims to host open-hearted dialogues about who we are and how we can achieve profound personal progress at a snail's pace of 1% every day.
Chris’ Journey
Chris embarked on her career in finance after obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Florida International University, where she was awarded a fellowship to conduct a full-scale Myers-Briggs study with accounting students. She earned her Master of Science in Forensic Accounting at Southern New Hampshire University, where she was recruited to participate in the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Virtual Experience training program.
Chris began her professional journey in audit, tax, and forensic accounting at top regional and domestic CPA firms. Here, she developed specialized expertise in diverse industries such as hedge funds, manufacturing, distribution, entertainment, real estate development, retirement plans, and non-profit organizations. Her adept skills in forensic accounting were further highlighted through her leadership in fraud investigations and financial litigation support at trials, mediations, arbitrations, and depositions.
Progressing to roles with significant responsibility, Chris spent over a decade in business process outsourcing, third-party logistics, and staffing industries, primarily focusing on business-to-business operations for Fortune 1,000 companies. As a Chief Financial Officer, she steered these firms through phases of significant growth, managing complex mergers and acquisitions from the letter of intent through due diligence to the final stages of sale and acquisition. Her strategic acumen in financial planning, reporting, treasury management, resource allocation, and regulatory and tax compliance has been instrumental in her success.
In 2018, Chris's profound impact on the financial sector was recognized with her induction into the Forbes Finance Council®. She further demonstrated her leadership as the CFO and Trustee at Skybridge Americas Inc., where she continues to oversee strategic financial and operational functions, including human resources, payroll, legal, and tax compliance. Her roles also includes serving as the retirement plan Trustee, enhancing her expertise in retirement planning and compliance with the Internal Revenue Code.
In 2022, Chris founded Miami Biz Pros LLC. alongside her husband Eduardo Guzman, a premier consulting practice that offers business optimization and strategic leadership development solutions, reflecting her dedication to fostering business excellence and innovation.
Through the CHRIS SENISE PODCAST, Chris creates a space for her to be in her wholeness and invites others to do the same. Her journey— marked by high-level professional achievements, artistic expression, and the ever-evolving roles of motherhood and partnership— reflects the spirit of continuous learning and self-discovery.
